AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)

AHPRA is the national agency responsible for registering health practitioners in Australia, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, speech pathologists, and other allied health professionals.

Each profession sets registration standards through its National Board. Practitioners must maintain current registration, continuing professional development, and meet standards of practice — including for telehealth and digital service delivery.

Practice software that tracks AHPRA registration alongside NDIS Worker Screening and other credentials prevents inadvertent rostering of clinicians whose registration has lapsed or who lack additional checks needed for community NDIS work.
