Ask

Australian clinical AI — built for regulated care

Voice notes, progress-note structuring, and coordinator copilot run on Australian infrastructure. Participant identities are pseudonymised before any external model call; clinical outputs require human review before they enter the record.

Your organisation controls AI features, usage logs, and residency settings in HealthOS. Clinical outputs are always labelled and held for staff review before publication.

How we keep it safe

Six principles behind every feature

The capabilities above are only useful if they are safe. These rules are enforced in architecture and workflow — not policy documents alone.

  • Transparency

Every AI-generated note, claim hint, budget brief, or coordinator summary is clearly labelled. Staff and reviewers always know what was machine-assisted.

  • Human oversight

Progress notes, NDIS claims, participant communications, and clinical summaries require coordinator or clinician approval before records are finalised or submitted.

  • Participant privacy

Names, dates of birth, and identifiers are pseudonymised before any external model call. Mapping is reversed server-side only — never stored in provider logs.

  • Clinical boundaries

NDIS plan clinical detail, medical diagnoses, treatment plans, and encrypted session notes are never sent to external AI — even pseudonymised.

  • Moderation & safety

AI output passes content moderation before delivery. Harmful or inappropriate content is blocked, logged, and never silently published.

  • Organisation control

Per-organisation usage dashboards, feature toggles, and spend limits. Australian-region hosting with audit logs retained for governance.

Privacy architecture

How pseudonymisation works

Participant and worker identities are not exposed to external AI providers. Mapping lives server-side only.

Original data

"Sam Nguyen"

"NDIS Core — Plan ref 12345"

"Support worker: Maria L."

Server-side

Pseudonymised

"Participant #P8K2"

"Budget category Core — ref masked"

"Worker #W3F1"

Content moderation before human review

Every AI draft is checked before coordinators and clinicians see it in workflow.

1

AI generates draft

Progress note structure, claim validation hints, budget briefs, care-plan alignment checks, or coordinator NLQ responses.

2

Moderation API check

Content screened for violence, self-harm, harassment, and other policy violations before staff review.

3

Pass / fail gate

Violations are logged and never delivered. Clean drafts proceed to human review.

4

Human approval

Coordinator, clinician, or billing officer reviews, edits, and approves before PRODA, PACE, records, or participant comms.

Moderation failures are audit-logged. No AI output is silently published to participants, families, PRODA, or PACE without explicit staff action.

Your control

Organisations stay in control

Visibility and toggles for compliance teams and executive sponsors.

  • Usage dashboard

Real-time view of AI calls, tokens, and cost by feature — aligned to your subscription and governance reporting.

  • Budget limits

Set monthly AI allowances with in-app warnings and hard stops when caps are reached for the billing period.

  • Feature toggles

Enable note drafting, claim validation, NLQ, or budget briefs independently as your organisation builds confidence.
