Pseudonymisation (PII handling)

Pseudonymisation is the practice of replacing identifying information with a pseudonym or reversible token so that the data can be processed without revealing the underlying identity. It is a core technique for handling personal health information in AI workflows.

For Australian disability and aged care providers, pseudonymisation lets the platform support AI features without sending raw participant names, addresses, or clinical content to external services. The mapping between pseudonym and identity stays inside the customer's data boundary.

HealthOS Intelligence applies pseudonymisation as part of every AI call — and excludes clinical note bodies, behaviour support plans, and other sensitive content from external AI services entirely.
