PRODA (Provider Digital Access)

PRODA is the Services Australia Provider Digital Access service that authenticates organisations and individuals into Australian Government health and disability systems, including legacy NDIS claiming and Medicare provider portals.

PRODA verifies the identity of an organisation and the individual logging in, then issues access to downstream services. For NDIS providers, PRODA historically gated access to the legacy provider portal; during the PACE rollout, providers may still use PRODA-authenticated workflows for some participants.

Software that integrates with NDIS claiming surfaces both pathways without forcing providers to choose one. HealthOS records the active pathway per participant so coordinators submit claims through the correct route.
