Migration playbook
Switch from Cliniko to HealthOS
Already on Cliniko? Move to HealthOS when you also deliver NDIS-funded therapy in homes or share clients with disability and aged care arms.
Typical timeline: 4 weeks · Built for Australian funding rules · No disruption to active claims
Why providers switch from Cliniko
- You deliver NDIS-funded allied health in homes or community
- You share clients with a disability or aged care arm of the organisation
- You need encrypted clinical notes and worker apps for in-home staff
- You want one person record between clinic and provider operations
Migration playbook
- Step 1
Practice scope (week 1)
We confirm the clinic services that stay in Cliniko-style flows and the NDIS or aged care episodes that need to move into HealthOS practice operations.
- Step 2
Patient → Person migration (weeks 1–3)
Patient records export from Cliniko; shared patients across disability or aged care collapse into one Person record. Clinical notes import to AES-256 encrypted clinical fields.
- Step 3
NDIS episodes and in-home rostering go live (weeks 3–4)
NDIS-funded episodes are attached to Person with budget visibility; in-home rostering uses the same worker app as disability and aged care staff.
Common questions
- Will I lose Cliniko's online booking experience?
- No. HealthOS includes online appointment booking, telehealth, and class scheduling. Cliniko-style patient self-service remains available in a modern interface.
